Welcome to the Congress
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We have great pleasure to invite you to the III Congress on Mental Health: Meeting the Needs of the XXI Century, Moscow June 26-28, 2020. This event will be remarkable with its special focus on Children, Society and Future. The theme of the Congress “Youth Mental Health and Well-being: Policy, Best Practices and Partnerships Worldwide” is contemporary and relevant to the imperatives of our times. The future of our world is in the hands of young people and hence mental health and well-being of children and adolescents is a matter of priority for all of us. Effective intervention at the appropriate time for problems of children and adolescents will lead to decrease in disruptive behaviours and timely management of disorders like depression and anxiety. It will also facilitate increase in social skills and an improvement in personal well-being.
World Association of Social Psychiatry is immensely concerned with Youth Mental Health. Hence we are very happy to be co-sponsoring this event. We have been participants of the earlier two editions of the Moscow Congresses on Mental Health. They were organised in an excellent manner with very fruitful scientific deliberations.
We wish the Congress grand success and welcome you very specially!
