“Outstanding Psychiatrists of the 20th Century”
On February 7, the presentation of the book "Outstanding Psychiatrists of the 20th Century" took place in the Alekseev Psychiatric Hospital Club in Moscow. The publication contains the collection of biographies of foreign researchers, little-known to Russian public. The book provides information about Oswald Bumke, a noted German psychiatrist and neurologist; Jean Delay and Pierre Deniker, French pioneers of psychopharmacology; Ladislas Joseph Meduna, the Hungarian psychiatrist and neuropathologist, chemically induced grand mal epileptic seizures as treatment for schizophrenia, and the other celebrities.
The book was co-written by R. A. Becker, Yu. V. Bykothe and P. V. Morozov (Russia).
